Police FC have officially announced the signing of Malian winger Moussa Limane from Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko, along with Ghanaian left-back Shaibou Idrissou, as the club continues to reinforce its squad ahead of the 2026/27 season.  

The Rwandan side is making significant moves in the transfer market as it looks to build a competitive team capable of challenging for domestic honours and making a strong impression in all competitions next season.

Moussa Limane arrives in Kigali after an impressive spell with Asante Kotoko, where his pace, dribbling ability and attacking threat made him one of the club’s key wide players. The 24-year-old Malian is expected to add creativity and goals to Police FC’s attacking department, offering the coaching staff another dangerous option on the wings. Reports indicate he has signed a two-year contract with the club.  

Joining him is Ghanaian defender Shaibou Idrissou, a left-back known for his defensive solidity, overlapping runs and ability to contribute in attack. His arrival is expected to strengthen Police FC’s backline as the team prepares for the challenges of the new campaign.  

The two signings underline Police FC’s ambition to compete at the highest level in the Rwanda Premier League after an active recruitment drive during the transfer window. Supporters will be hoping the new additions settle quickly and help the club achieve its objectives in the upcoming season.
