Amavubi Finally Arrive in Kigali After a Tough Journey from Cape Verde

Rwanda’s national football team, the Amavubi, have finally arrived back in Kigali following a difficult journey from Cape Verde. 🇷🇼✈️

The team made the long trip home after their latest assignment in the Road to PAMOJA 2027 campaign, with the return journey proving particularly challenging for the players and technical staff.

After spending time in Cape Verde for their international fixture, the Amavubi can now turn their attention back to preparations in Rwanda as they continue their 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign.

The players are expected to take some time to recover from the demanding travel before returning to their normal training schedule.

The latest international window has provided another opportunity for head coach Stephen Constantine to assess his squad and build momentum ahead of Rwanda’s upcoming matches.

The Amavubi have been receiving strong attention from Rwandan football supporters, who continue to follow the team’s progress in the race for a place at AFCON 2027.
