Rwanda’s Unstoppable Run Ends at Five as Kenya Hold Amavubi to a Draw

KIGALI, Rwanda — Rwanda were held to a goalless draw by Kenya after a tightly contested international encounter that ended 0–0.

The result brings Rwanda’s impressive winning run to an end, with the Amavubi unable to record what would have been their fifth consecutive victory.

Rwanda entered the match with confidence following a strong run of results, but they struggled to find the breakthrough against a disciplined Kenyan side.

Head coach Stephen Constantine appeared to make changes to his usual approach, with Rwanda trying a different tactical setup in search of another victory. However, the changes did not produce the desired result as Kenya successfully kept Rwanda at bay.

Despite the lack of goals, the match provided several positive individual performances. Daryl and Clement stood out for Rwanda and were among the players who impressed throughout the encounter.

The Amavubi will now turn their attention to their upcoming fixtures as they look to return to winning ways and continue building momentum.
