Rayon Sports Survive Lake Kivu Scare to Beat Marines 2-1 as Police FC Climb the Table
RUBAVU – Rayon Sports secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Marines FC in Rubavu in the Rwanda Premier League, with Junior Kameni scoring twice in an entertaining encounter that also sparked controversy over refereeing decisions.
Marines FC, who play their home matches near the shores of Lake Kivu, were unable to stop Rayon Sports from collecting all three points despite putting up a strong fight.
Junior Kameni proved to be the difference-maker for the Blues, scoring in the 14th and 72nd minutes. His two goals cancelled out Ramadhan’s 26th-minute equaliser for Marines FC.
COACH RWASAMANZI QUESTIONS REFEREEING

The coach suggested that some refereeing decisions were difficult to accept and indicated that he disagreed with the way certain situations were handled.
Rwasamanzi also criticised the mentality of benefiting from things without earning them through hard work, arguing that such attitudes could prevent Rwandan clubs from making significant progress in international competitions.
