America: Wedding Plans for Women No Longer Trendy
A study conducted in the United States of America revealed that a large number of women and girls are no longer interested in getting married, as their preference is to enjoy life on their own.
Getting married or finding a husband/wife is usually considered one of the most important things in a person’s life, as experts say a person has three most significant days in their entire life: the day they are born, the day they get married, and the day they die.
However, there are increasing views in various places suggesting that some people no longer consider marriage to be a very important aspect of their lives, with some saying: “The important thing is to have a child, but having a husband/wife is not necessary at all.”
According to the Wall Street Journal, research conducted by the Pew Research Center found that nearly half of women in the United States are not interested in the idea of having a wedding to start a family.
A 2022 study showed that 34% of girls wanted to date with a purpose that could possibly lead to marriage, but the figures have been steadily decreasing, as in 2019, they were at 38%. This means that all the rest are those who either want to date without a clear purpose, or are not interested in dating at all.
A recent study by the Aspen Economic Strategy Group found that 54% of women between the ages of 18 and 40 reported that they have no romantic partners. In the past, especially in the United States, women/girls without partners often kept it a secret, and this is another sign showing that the idea of having a husband or boyfriend is no longer seen as something essential.
This mainly comes from the way they view relationships and marriages, daily divorces, murders, and other problems within love and family life, leading some to choose to live alone rather than getting involved in problems they can foresee.

Almost half of women in the United States no longer consider getting married as something essential.
