Rayon Sports Sign Cameroonian Striker Herman Junior Kameni Ahead of 2026/27 Season

Rayon Sports have continued strengthening their squad ahead of the 2026/27 season by announcing the signing of Cameroonian striker Herman Junior Kameni, a player with experience across Africa, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
The 25-year-old striker stands at 1.97 meters and is a traditional No. 9, known for his physical presence, aerial ability, and hold-up play that helps bring teammates into attacking moves.
Kameni is naturally left-footed but is also capable of playing just behind the main striker when needed.
He joins Rayon Sports from Khor Fakkan FC in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Before that, he built an impressive career by playing for several clubs across different countries.
During his career, Kameni has represented Union Touarga Sport and FUS Rabat in Morocco before being loaned to Næstved BK in Denmark. He later played for FC Kaisar in Kazakhstan, moved to Sharjah FC, and most recently featured for Khor Fakkan FC in the UAE.
The striker has also earned a call-up to the Cameroon U23 national team.
Kameni arrives at Rayon Sports as the club continues to recruit experienced players in its bid to build a competitive squad capable of challenging for domestic titles as well as continental competitions.
Rayon Sports supporters will now be eager to see whether the Cameroonian forward and the club’s more than 10 new signings can make an immediate impact during the 2026/27 season, beginning with Rayon Day on July 18, before turning their attention to the CECAFA Kagame Cup, which kicks off on July 24
