Former Mukura VS Captain Nicolas Sebwato Completes Move to Amagaju

Amagaju FC have strengthened their squad ahead of the 2026/27 Rwanda Premier League season with the signing of experienced goalkeeper Nicolas Sebwato following the expiration of his contract at Mukura Victory Sports.
Sebwato leaves Mukura after several successful seasons in Huye, where he established himself as one of the club’s most reliable performers and was entrusted with the captain’s armband. His leadership, experience, and commanding presence between the posts made him a key figure for Mukura throughout his stay.
The move marks the beginning of a new chapter for the Ugandan goalkeeper as Amagaju continue to strengthen their squad in preparation for the upcoming campaign. The club hopes Sebwato’s experience and leadership qualities will help improve its defensive stability and competitiveness.
For Mukura VS, Sebwato’s departure closes the chapter on one of the club’s senior leaders, leaving the technical team with the task of finding a suitable replacement both in goal and in the dressing room.
