The Rwanda Football Federation (FERWAFA) has officially cleared Burundian coach Haringingo Francis Christian to lead Rayon Sports after resolving a legal dispute with his former club, Kiyovu Sports.

Official Clearance for Coach Haringingo
The announcement was made via FERWAFA’s social media platforms on the evening of Thursday, April 16, 2026. The decision followed a mediation meeting held at the federation’s headquarters to resolve the standoff between the coach and his former employer.
The Mediation Meeting
The meeting brought together all relevant stakeholders, including:
- Shema Ngoga Fabrice: President of FERWAFA
- Nkurunziza David: President of Kiyovu Sports
- Murenzi Abdallah: President of Rayon Sports
- Haringingo Francis Christian: The Head Coach
Before this resolution, Rayon Sports had already announced Haringingo as their new manager, but he was unable to obtain a work permit because Kiyovu Sports claimed he had resigned in violation of his contract
