BAHAFRICA FILMS ACADEMY: A Leading School of Film and Media in Rwanda Africa Films Academy continues to open its doors to young people eager to study and join the film and media industry in Rwanda.
This academy specializes in training students in video production, filmmaking, and various areas of multimedia and entertainment.Based in Rwanda, the academy has built a strong reputation through organizing graduations, producing films, and nurturing talented individuals who are ready to create and innovate.
Its activities include film showcases, screenings, and graduation ceremonies that highlight the achievements of its students.In 2024, BahAfrica Films Academy, through its parent company BahAfrica Entertainment led by Bahavu Jeannette, awarded certificates to 196 graduates who had completed months of training in film and media studies. The ceremony took place on September 27th, 2024, at Canal Olympia Rebero and was attended by top celebrities from Rwanda’s film and music industry.

Practical Skills for the Future: Training in Media and Entertainment at BahAfrica Films Academy
The academy offers courses such as Graphic Designing, Video Editing, Camera Operation, and Live Streaming all designed to equip students with practical skills needed in today’s entertainment industry. Training lasts for three months and costs 250,000 Rwandan francs, providing an affordable opportunity for passionate learners.
Beyond classroom training, BahAfrica Films Academy serves as a platform that brings together artists, journalists, and creative talents, giving them exposure and connections to work at both local and international levels. Many graduates have already ventured into producing films, music videos, and other entertainment projects that also contribute to promoting Rwanda’s culture.
